The Canterbury Summit is over for another year. We were delighted with the support and attendance for the day. Once again our huge thanks to speakers and sponsors for their support, and to all those who attended. Review of 2008 Canterbury Software Summit
More than 150 local software enthusiasts gathered at the Hotel Grand
Chancellor earlier this month for the 2008 Canterbury Software Summit.
Presentations by NextWindow, Cavotec, i-lign, Optimation and AuthorIT were
well-received by attendees, who enjoyed hearing how these successful software
companies overcame initial business challenges to rise to the levels of growth
and success they are now enjoying.
Some of the comments we have received so far:
"Loved the summit yesterday it was the best conference I have attended in a
while, from a business owners perspective it was nice to feel that we are not
alone with the day to day struggles of cash flows, resourcing and executing
global growth. It was refreshing to listen to speakers that have actually been
in the trenches their advice was very thought provoking and we have already
tabled some issues we plan to address."
"We really enjoyed it yesterday; I thought it was a roaring success."
"I was impressed by the Software Community in Christchurch - a great bunch
of people and business. I thought the Software Cluster put together a great
event so well done!"
